All Nagaland Math Quiz Competition Held

The Department of Mathematics, St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama in collaboration with CEDOK (Commission for Education Diocese of Kohima) successfully conducted the “All Nagaland State Level Math Quiz Competition” for class 10 students (NBSE syllabus) on 11th November, 2023. All together 14 schools registered and participated from Dimapur, Wokha, Shamator and in and around Kohima. Dr. Kshetrimayum Renubebeta Devi, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Mathematics, SJC(A) gave a short message about the necessity of Mathematics in our life, also in different fields and not fear math but to keep practicing and encourage them to participate more, with that she declared the competition open. Certificate was issued to all the participants.
Holy Cross Hr. Sec School, Dimapur represented by Mr. Ankush Chakraborty and Mr. Pabitra Deb secured the first position with a cash prize of 25k with certificate, followed by Dainty Buds School, Kohima represented by Ms. Nukshirenla Kichu and Ms. Niamkoi k secured the second position with cash prize of 20k with certificate. The third position was awarded to St. Joseph Hr. Sec. School, Viswema represented by Mr. Zayievito Pucho and Mr. Lorhezo Koso with a cash prize of 15k with certificate.
