The department of Sociology raised the total amount of Rs. 1,55,780 this year for ‘Sociology Gives Back’ a charity event organised by the department.
 

Beneficiaries for this year are

1. Tabitha Enabling Academy Kohima – Rs. 50,000
2. ⁠Papa Foundation (NGO) Kohima – Rs. 20,000
3. ⁠Myanmar earthquake victims– Rs. 20,000
4. ⁠Admission and Fee for 2nd semester undergraduate student for 3rd Semester session – Rs. 21,000
5. ⁠Noklak fire victims – Rs. 25,510.
