·         AIMS

Ø  To develop character, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst the youth of the country.

Ø  To create a human resource of organised, trained and motivated youth, to provide leadership in ALL WALKS OF LIFE AND BE ALWAYS AVAILABLE FOR THE SERVICE OF THE NATION.

Ø  To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a creer in the armed forces.

·         OBJECTIVES

Ø  Teach positive thinking and attitude to the youth.

Ø  Mould the youth into a united, secular and disciplined citizens of the country.

Ø  Provide an ideal platform for the youth to showcase their ability in nation building.

·         KEY ACTIVITIES

Ø  Institutional training.

Ø  Maintaining discipline of the college during important college events like Freshers’ Day, Spring Fest, Graduation Day, College Week, etc.

Ø  Observing important days such as Republic Day, World Environment Day, International Day of Yoga, Kargil Vijay Diwas, Independence Day, Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti, NCC Day, etc.

Ø  Participating in locally organised (Combined Annual Training Camp, Annual Training Camp, Mini Camp) and regional organised camps (Inter Unit Shooting Competition, Inter Unit Word of Command Competition, Inter Unit Guard of Honour Competition, Inter Unit Obstacle Competition, Inter Unit Map Reading Competition, Inter Unit Drill Competition, Inter Group Cultural Competition, Pre-Thal Sainik and Pre-Republic Day Camps).

Ø  Centrally Organised (national) Camps such as Leadership Camps (Basic and Advanced), Thal Sainik Camp (TSC), Rock Climbing Camp, National Integration & Special National Integration Camps (SNIC), Republic Day Camp (RDC) and Youth Exchange Programme (YEP).

Ø  Attachment training.

Ø  Adventure Training like mountaineering, cycle expedition, trekking, shooting, para-jumping, etc.

Ø  Blood donation.

Ø  Social Service and Community Development (SSCD) activities
